Endorse Waterfront Action Agenda

MWA is administering a candidate questionnaire in the 2009 election cycle to emphasize the importance of waterfront issues to our region. From encouraging public subsidies for mass water transit to suggesting discretionary funds for educational programming on the water, the candidate questionnaire builds on MWA's Waterfront Action Agenda by identifying a series of legislative action items to advance our policy platform for the waterfront. With the support of our elected leaders we can promote a critical diversity of uses on our shoreline and implement our shared vision for a 21st century waterfront. Please encourage the candidate of your choice to take the questionnaire today. If there is a question that you would like to see us ask, please email Cortney Worrall, MWA director of programs, at cworrall@waterfrontalliance.org

Volunteer to help us administer the candidate questionnaire. Send us your information below and we’ll tell you who your candidates are and provide you with the resources you need to support the Waterfront Action Agenda. You can start by downloading and reading the White Papers and Action Agenda booklet elsewhere on this web site. It’s your waterfront. Take action.
